Join us for the world’s ultimate shark adventure just west of Adelaide, South Australia. Experience what its like to stare a Great White Shark in the eye in its own habitat but in the safety of the cage. With this shark cage diving experience you could meet the worlds largest stingrays, southern eagle rays, giant blue wrasse, and other fish species found nowhere else.
These Great White Shark Expeditions are the only operation in the world to cater for qualified SCUBA divers in our special submersible bottom diving cages. These descend safely down 18m (60ft) below to the sea floor. Here on the bottom we are also surrounded by local sea life.
Non-certified SCUBA divers can also participate in our surface cage dives by simply breathing air from a "hookah line", a surface fed air supply. Here the cage floats at the water surface, with your head just under the water and the cage is fixed directly to the boat.
During the adventure, expedition members are encouraged to go onshore and explore the Neptunes. A wonderful variety of wildlife, including many birds, dolphins, fur seals and the rare Australian sea lion are commonly seen around and on these remote and scenic islands.

There are two prime seasons for viewing Great White Sharks at the Neptune Islands in South Australia - Summer season (December - February) - Peak shark numbers and reliability: June, July, August and September Q. Reliability of sightings? A. The Supplier can never give a 100% guarantee of success working with the unpredictability of Mother Nature and passengers should be prepared of the possibility that limited or no shark activity can occur. However if no Great White sharks are recorded on a tour, then the supplier would offer passengers a half price return trip on available tour dates within the following 2 years. Q. Where are the Neptune Islands? A. The Neptune Islands are situated at the mouth of the Spencer Gulf, south of Port Lincoln Q. Will we see large sharks? A. In South Australia you can reliably view the awesome spectacle of huge, mature Great Whites, exceeding a true 14ft (4m) in length and at certain times up to and over 18ft long (5-6m) Q. What is the underwater visibility like? A. Viewing Sharks is always far more exciting, rewarding and unforgettable in the clear blue water visibility of the Neptune Islands
Q. Do you have any requirements or recommendations for passengers? A. Diver Qualification: SCUBA Diver certification is not necessary! However, by being certified you can then go down 10-30m (50-100ft) in our special submersible bottom cage.
