Sea kayaking is a fantastic way to explore the pristine waters around the Mornington Peninsula, just south of Melbourne, Vic. There are a number of perfect places to launch a kayak and glide across the clean blue waters of Port Phillip Bay. Dolphins and Seals often surface just metres from you, giving you a glimpse of the wide array of marine life living right below your kayak.
Tours begin with a briefing covering terminology, equipment use, skills and safety procedures. Our highly experienced guides also educate kayakers on the marine life and points of interest likely to be encountered.
As you move along the coastline you’ll pass the ‘Millionaire Walk’ in Sorrento an area renowned for its picturesque hilltop mansions. The beaches that line the Peninsula are riddled with sites that hold historical importance. Some of Australia’s first settlers lived on the Mornington Peninsula and it now plays host to some of the most affluent postcodes in Australia.

Duration
This tour is run daily from 9.00am. The tour is around 14kms which takes approximately 2 hours to paddle with a break for refreshments.

Q. Is there a minimum age for this tour? A. Participants need to be at least 7 years of age and of reasonable fitness/ confidence level. Children under 14 years old will be teamed up in a boat with an adult.
Q. Is it hard to keep up with the tour? A. The pace of the trip is controlled carefully so as to maximise enjoyment and minimize effort.
Q. Do I need kayaking experience to participate? A. Not at all, a sense of fun and adventure is your biggest asset on this tour.
