PADI Open Water Diving Course, Mornington Peninsula - VIC
The Experience
Discover what lies beneath! Learn how to dive and discover the amazing and diverse marine life of our underwater world around Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne….
Successful completion of the PADI Open Water Course qualifies you to dive independently to a depth of 18 meters in unconfined waters and is an internationally recognised passport to dive throughout the world!
This 2 day course involves developing the theoretical knowledge behind scuba diving through PADI's great new E-learning platform. You will be able to study at your own pace and complete all quizzes and exams on your own time!
Confined water dives are conducted in our on site training pool under the direct supervision of your professionally qualified PADI Instructor. This enables skill development and safe diving procedures to become second nature in a controlled environment.
You will complete four open water dives off the coast of Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula, including one boat dive. This exciting stage of the course provides a perfect opportunity for you, under direct supervision of your dive instructor, to complete skills learnt in the training pool environment and to adapt them to the open water.
You’ll even get the chance to see some of the hidden secrets in the waters around Port Phillip Bay and The Mornington Peninsula such as the WW1 J-class submarine which sunk in the Melbourne Dockyards in 1926, or the SS Cheviot which gave name to the nearby Cheviot Beach.
You know you can dive so prove it! Sign up for a PADI Open Water Diving Course today!
