Create a memorable experience when swimming among marine life in Melbourne. Plus have the thrill of seeing sharks in their natural environment! Don’t worry if you don’t have scuba equipment as it will all be provided for you.
Non-divers come to our dive school and take part in a one-hour theory session then head to the local pool for a practice dive. We will then meet in the afternoon at the Aquarium where all dives are of a 30-minute duration. All divers must arrive at the Aquarium 1 hour prior to the first dive of the day.

Scuba diving at the Aquarium is available to all people over the age of 15 years
Non Qualified Divers under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present on the day of the event.
Duration
The dive in the tank with the sharks is approximately 20-25 minutes.
Dress Code
If the diver has their own scuba gear they must be aware that full body coverage is essential. This means hoods and gloves are necessary. For those without their own equipment, towel and bathers are all that is required. All other equipment will be provided.

Q. Is it safe? A. We have taken more than 20,000 successful dives. Also you will have peace of mind knowing that each scuba dive is always guided by one of our fully trained dive staff
Q. Any requirements? A. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL within 12 hours before the dive and DO NOT FLY IN AN AIRCRAFT within 24 hours after your dive. Participants must have a satisfactory level of health. MEDICAL RESTRICTIONS APPLY as some conditions can exclude you from diving. These include asthma, epilepsy, chronic chest, sinus or ear problems, recent injuries or surgeries and psychological problems
Q. Can I bring my own equipment? A. All equipment is supplied, but you can bring full body coverage. This means hoods and gloves are necessary

Men should be advised to wear trunks rather than shorts – but this is not mandatory. Women either a bikini or swimming costume Q. Is there a limit on the number of spectators I can bring? A. As part of your Shark Dive experience you receive 1 free adult entry to the Melbourne Aquarium. All others must pay the Melbourne Aquarium general admission fee. Q. Are there any changing rooms? A.
