Try something different and spend an afternoon cycling along the picturesque coastal paths of Sydney's most beautiful seaside town, Manly. Only 30 minutes by ferry from Sydney, enjoy an amazing experience cycling along idyllic beaches, marine reserves, and beautiful Sydney Harbour National Park.
Natural Environment - Beautiful scenery, brimming with plants and animals. Some of the animals that you may encounter include; bandicoots, lizards, penguins, flying fox (bats) and depending on the season - whales and dolphins. Fantastic birds are always a feature.
Aboriginal Heritage - Manly has played a significant role in the development of Sydney, being the first documented place where the aboriginals (Kay-ye-may Clan) met the first settlers.
History and Culture - Manly has played a key role in the development of Sydney and Australia. Some of the other attractions that are located in the Manly area include the Quarantine Station, St Patrick’s (formerly a seminary), North Fort and the Old Gas Works Site. There have been also been a number of famous people who lived in the Manly area - even the first prime minister!

Additional InfoThe routes and bikes are designed to cater for a wide range of people. There are some hills in the area, although none that are overly difficult. The bikes are well geared for them.
The bikes are suitable for children over the age of 12.

Q. Is there much traffic?
A. No, Manly is one of the safest places to ride in Sydney and is very bike friendly. There are over 20 kilometres of cycle paths in the area and plenty of secluded beaches to explore without having to think about traffic. This is nothing like the city.
Q. How do I get to Manly?
A. Ferry - Ferries leave approximately every half hour from Circular Quay (Wharf 3) and return at similar intervals. The trip takes 30 minutes.
Bus - We are located across the road from the Bus Terminal, just catch any bus to Manly Wharf.
Car - Manly is located only a 40 minute drive from the Sydney CBD with plenty of council car parking available.
Q. Do i need to book a bike?
A.We have a large fleet of bikes so generally there is no need to book. If there is a large group of you, 8+ or have special requirements such as child carriers, then we'd recommend booking ahead during the busier (wamer) months. Any booking changes are accepted up until 24hrs before the day, otherwise the full amount is charged, please note booking fee's may apply for changing bookings.
Q. What should I bring for the tour?
A. All you need is some comfortable shoes you can ride in. Bikes, Helmets and refreshments are provided to all tour guests.
Q. How difficult is the ride?
A. The route and bikes are designed to cater for a wide range of people. There is a moderate level of fitness required as there are are some hills in the area, but the bikes are well geared for them. The views from North Head are definitely worth it. If you do have any difficulties, there is a hospital at the top of the hill
Q. Can I bring children?
A. The bikes are suitable for children over the age of 12. Child seats are also available.
Q. What happens if it rains?
A. If you have already booked and the weather is not suitable for riding, you will be able reschedule to a date that suits you, we don’t want to ride in the rain either.
