The Experience

The tower dominates the pristine jungle with it's powerful presence. The 50 metre high Cairns Bungy Tower is situated 15 km north of Cairns and has breath taking panoramic views out to The Great Barrier Reef. For over 10 years this tower of power has been the ultimate altar on which to sacrifice one's fear. Hundreds of thousands of people from just about every nation on earth have made the pilgrimage to this Bungy Mecca.

Located in the adventure capital of Australia, the Cairns Bungy Tower was constructed in 1990 and has played host to more than five million visitors. Set in lush tropical rainforest, the Bungy site occupies seven acres of unique land surrounded by pristine world heritage listed rainforest. Where Natural Australian wildlife also frequent the site with wildlife such as goanna’s, snakes, bush turkey's and wallabies just to name a few.

People jump for all sorts of reasons, to be able to say I DID IT, to wear the shirt or to impress the babes. All noble reasons, but the best reason to jump is still to face your fears, to do battle with your mind and to get the adrenaline pumping through your body. Push yourself past the sweaty palms and the pit in your stomach to accomplish something you never dreamed you could do. Transport from Cairns is available, just let us know when you book. The air-conditioned Bungy Bus provides transport from all accommodation houses. Return transfers from Cairns and the Northern Beaches are free for participants. Situated near the James Cook University, the Bungy Tower is easy to find and get to, either by your own car or public transport.

Minimum jump weight is 45kg – if you're under 45kg you can participate in a tandem jump with a friend, or one of our great crew. Minimum jump age is 10 years old.

There is no maximum jump weight or age!!!

There aren’t many restrictions – we can jump people in wheelchairs, with limited or no eyesight and many other cases – just call us for more info!
