For the serious chocolate lover, this hands-on cooking class will introduce you to the sweet art form of chocolate making right here in Adelaide.
In 2 and 1/2 hours, you’ll have fun learning the secrets to creating the finest hand-made chocolates.
Over 2 and 1/2 sinfully indulgent hours, you’ll learn how to create your own hand-made chocolate delights. Under the guidance of an experienced chocolate maker, you’ll develop a true appreciation of the “food of Gods”.
Using only the highest quality chocolate, you’ll be taken through the tempering process – the secret to creating chocolate that has a silky, smooth gloss and clean “snap” once it has been set.
You’ll then turn the tempered chocolate into heavenly delicacies such as truffles, chocolate ravioli, choux puffs with chocolate cream filling, chocolate cases with lemon cream and hard and soft centred chocolates. And you can learn to add your own personal touch using favourite flavours and fillings such as roasted nuts, mint, coconut and dried fruit.
While you work at your chocolate creations, we’ll serve up a hot chocolate treat for that complete chocoholic experience. The last part of the class will see you creating decorations - a professional touch to finish off your hand-made chocolates.
With your sweet tooth satisfied, take home your chocolates to share with family and friends (or perhaps just keep them for yourself!).
