The Experience

Parasailing on Sydney Harbour is a unique way to experience the harbour and its surrounds. Better still, you need no experience and no ability.

When you embark on this unique experience from Manly Wharf you will usually be joined by other parasailers and passengers. Once you are on the boat you will receive a briefing and don the life jacket and harness. When you are ready to fly the winch operator will deploy the parasail and connect your harness.

From the platform you are gently winched into the skies of Sydney Harbour up to 450ft. All that is required from you is to relax and enjoy the excitement and the view.

Get wet or stay dry, it is up to you. However, it is recommended that if you do wish to get wet, you wear a swim suit, or bring a change of clothes. Dresses are not recommended.

On most trips you will have approximately an hour on the boat to enjoy the harbour scenery from the water. You will then be returned to the Wharf. Non-flying passengers are welcome, subject to availability. Please note non-flying passengers are $16 per person.

Where we fly in this area will depend on wind direction and strength on the day, but mostly we fly in Manly Cove.

Minimum age you can fly single is 15 however younger people can fly from the age of 10 in tandem with an adult. Prefer Tandem bookings only.

The parasailer or guardian must sign a standard indemnity and release agreement before parasailing. Minimum age is 10 and persons aged 10 to 15 years must parasail in tandem.

Depending on the weather and wind conditions, tandems and triple may be restricted

Duration

Time on the boat is approx. one hour, and 7 to 10 minutes in the air.

Dress Code

If you want to get wet then wear a swim suit, or bring a change of clothes. Dresses and skirts are not recommended.

A. Its your choice. Sometimes we can't get you wet if the wind is strong.

Q. What does tandem mean?
A. Tandem means you and your friend flying together under the one parasail usually side by side. It does not mean flying with an instructor.
