The Experience
Our classic Daimler offers a rare opportunity to spend a day of wine touring in a little piece of Australia's history. This is personalised touring at its best. You'll travel privately, in a rare1962 Daimler, which was used for Royal Tours in the sixties. Your enthusiastic and friendly tour guide loves to to share his extensive wine and historic knowledge with all who tour with him. You will experience a full day tour including premium wine tastings, a sumptuous restaurant lunch, and afternoon tea at Maggie Beers Farm Shop.
Receive special attention at the cellar doors and meet the winemakers and characters of this world renowned region.
The Barossa Valley is famous for its Shiraz, Grenache, and Mataro wines, although most varieties grow well here, these are the standouts. Visit famous and iconic establishments such as Penfolds, Jacobs Creek or Seppeltsfield, or let your guide introduce you to the lesser known but outstanding smaller family owned gems. Visit cheese shops, farmers markets, scenic lookouts, and drive along the famous Seppeltsfield Palms. Whatever is the best day for you, is the best day for us!
Your tour includes:
- 2-course lunch with wine at Vintners Restaurant
- Afternoon tea at Maggie Beers Farm Shop
- All entrance fees
- Wine tastings
- 10am collection and return to Barossa accommodation at 5pm
- Exclusive Private Touring - no sharing
- Tour visits up to 6 wineries on a tour made for you
With over 100 cellar doors in The Barossa, we like to make sure your tour is completely personalised. John (your guide) does not begin with an itinerary, but develops it as the day goes on. He knows all the wine lists available at the cellar doors and can expertly pursue our guests wine tastes. After 17 years of Barossa Valley wine touring, you can leave it to him, to make sure your day is the best it can be.
We are also happy to include any requests which our guests may have, so if there is an establishment you must go to, we will do our best to include it.
