The Experience

Learn to fly a Helicopter…You will have the opportunity to take full control. This is an amazing Trial Introductory Flight right here in the beautiful Gold Coast...

The experience starts with a briefing which introduces participants to the basic concepts of how a helicopter works, the use of elementary controls and safety procedures. Pre-flight briefings are conducted for approximately 20 minutes.

At the completion of the pre-flight briefing the instructor will take participants out to a helicopter where the hand on experience begins.

For the next 20 minutes participant will gradually learn to fly the helicopter with guidance from an instructor. The controls in a helicopter will be explained along with what they do.

The helicopter is dual control and you will have a fully qualified and experienced instructor sitting next to you so although this is one of the most exciting experiences it is still extremely safe and you are in great hands.

You will never forget what is one of the most exciting experiences available today.

Duration

Flying time is approx 20 minutes, best to allow 2 hours for the full experience. normal times are 8am, 10am, 1pm & 3pm (Mondays - Fridays)

Q. Does this Helicopter Flight require minimum numbers to go ahead?
A. No. This is a One on One flight

Q. What happens on the Helicopter Flight?
A. You’ll complete a hands on pre-flight inspection before going through the basic instruments and controls. Your instructor will then guide you through the start up, but take over for takeoff. Once you are in the air you’ll gradually take over the controls until you are eventually in full control.

Q. Do we need to be there any earlier than our departure time?
A. Yes, 15 minutes prior to flight time.

Q. Is the Helicopter Flight weather dependant?
A. Yes.

Q. What happens if we are cancelled due to bad weather?
A. You will be able to rebook for anther suitable date.

Q. Do you need a pilots licence or any experience to do this Helicopter Flight?
A. No license required or previous experience
