The Experience
Can you see yourself behind the wheel of a V8 Race Holden or Ford? Here is your chance to experience the thrills and excitement of driving a fully prepared race car around Wakefield Park Raceway! You will put the pedal to the metal for 10 exhilarating driving laps you are sure to never forget!
Before you take the wheel, you will be given a full drivers briefing. Learn all about driving a high performance car including how to find your race line, corners, gear changes, circuit layout and safety.
Then zip up you race suit and head to the pits to choose your Ford or Holden V8. Strap yourself in and commence your full tilt, real race drive with your very own in-car coach. It’s an adrenaline charged blast that you will want to relive over and over again!

In-car DVDs of the drive and framed photos can be purchased on the day for $49 each.
Please choose your booking date carefully as any change incurs a $45 administration fee. Changes within 7 days may not be possible.

A: Yes, participants must weigh under 135kgs and be between 135cm – 194cm tall.

Q: Can I purchase DVD’s and/or Photos of my drive?
A: Yes, you can purchase an in-car DVD and photos of the drive on the day of your drive.
Q: Are the cars automatic or manual?
A: We have both automatic and manual transmission cars.
Q: Do you need a full driver’s license to participate?
A: No, to be able to drive, participants may hold ‘P’ plates, equivalent or anything higher then this (such as current). International Drivers licenses can also be used so long as they are recognised in Australia – please enquire if you are unsure.
Q: If my license is suspended can I still drive?
A: You can, however you must bring proof you have held your license on the day of your booking. A simple letter from the local Automobile body should suffice.
