Imagine yourself driving a professional race car. If you’ve never experienced it, now it’s time to do it. There are race prepared V8 Holdens and Fords just waiting for you to come burn some rubber in Wakefield Park.
This is your opportunity to experience the thrill of what it is like to race on the Wakefield Park Race Circuit, taking these amazing race modified vehicles around the course for 9 amazing and unforgettable laps - and here’s how you’re going to achieve that dream.
First there is a bit of training that you have to have on how these high performance vehicles perform and how to you are going to handle them. After your training session, you will then get suited & booted and ready to move on over to the race pit where you’ll meet your V8 Race Holden or Ford. This is where the excitement really builds. Next you’ll get strapped into the racer, start the engine and pull off onto the track. From there it’s an amazing 9 laps of speed and excitement with your co-driver/trainer right by your side giving you instructions on how to maximize your speed and acceleration.
Be sure to bring family and friends along to witness you take to the track like a professional, as Wakefield Park is designed to allow spectators to see you the whole way round!

There is a maximum weight limit of 135 kgs.
Age Restriction:
Participants must be 18 years old or older to be able to drive.
Height Restriction:
You must be no taller than 6’7”
At least 'P' Plates are required to drive on the day.
Both Automatic (Holden) and Manual Cars (Holden & Ford) are available.
The facility has excellent viewing areas. Complimentary tea and coffee will be supplied.
In-car DVDs of the drive and framed photos can be purchased on the day for $49 each.
Please choose your booking date carefully as any change incurs a $45 administration fee. Changes within 7 days may not be possible.

Driving time is 6 laps. Please allow approximately 2 hours for your V8 driving experience.
Dress Code
Please wear every day casual clothes.
Flat, close-toed shoes are required.

Q: Is there a height and weight restriction? A: Yes, participants must weigh under 135kgs and be between 135cm – 194cm tall.
Q: Can friends and family come down and watch the drive? A: Spectators are more than welcome to come and share in this great experience.
Q: Can I purchase DVD’s and/or Photos of my drive? A: Yes, youcan purchase an in-car DVD of the drive on the day, and you can also buy a framed 2 photo “super souvenir” of you and the car on the day.
Q: Are the cars automatic or manual? A: We have both automatic and manual transmission cars.
Q: Do you need a full driver’s license to participate? A: No, to be able to drive, participants may hold ‘P’ plates, equivalent or anything higher then this (such as current). International Drivers licenses can also be used so long as they are recognised in Australia – please enquire if you are unsure.
Q: If my license is suspended can I still drive? A: You can, however you must bring proof you have held your license on the day of your booking. A simple letter from the local Automobile body should suffice.
