Do you enjoy 4WD tours? Get off the beaten track in your Four Wheel Drive. Understand and improve your skills by putting them to the test on our exclusive, purpose built Four Wheel Drive circuit.

Four Wheel Drive vehicles have special capabilities but it takes skill to use these features safely and correctly. You will be taught how to drive a 4WD safely and confidently without incurring damage to yourself, the vehicle or the environment.

These Four Wheel Drive courses are all about getting to your destination with the maximum driver and passenger safety and comfort but also taking care of the environment.

Course includes: Understanding 4WD vehicles, Learning vehicle recovery techniques, correctly negotiating obstacles and ideal wheel alignment, Handling rough terrain and Knowing when to use 4WD functions, Vehicle dynamics, Stall Out and Recovery techniques, Completing ascents and descents, negotiation of humps and ditches, Responding to transmission wind up, you’ll also be taught about the environmental aspects to 4WD driving.

A. Yes you need to be at least 18 years of age.

Q. Do you need a full driver’s license to participate?
A. No, to be able to drive as long as you hold your ‘P’ plates or equivalent that is fine. International Drivers licenses can also be used so long as they are recognised in Australia – please enquire if you are unsure.
