The Experience

Here’s your chance to experience firsthand the thrill and excitement of driving a fully prepared rally car. You’ll be behind the wheel of purposely built rally car on a professionally designed Rally Stage, at the Rolling Thunder Raceway.

You will be greeted upon arrival by our friendly Rally Drive team where you will be checked in for your Rally experience.

You will be taught all the basic principles of Rally Car driving Acceleration, Braking and Cornering. You will also be introduced to our instructors who will be coaching you around the Rally Stage.

Your Excitement and Adrenalin level is now at a maximum and you are nearly ready to get behind the Wheel of one of our rally cars.

But your Safety is priority so its time to fit you out with a full race suit and helmet.

Now it’s off to the track and it’s your turn to put all you have learned into action. You are guided straight to your rally car and strapped in.

Your instructor guides you out on to the rally stage and talks you through the first lap explaining each corner and what line’s to take on each part of the circuit then it’s off – FULL ON RALLY ATTACK. You will then complete 16 Laps at rally speed - 8 laps at a time).

Listening hard to your co-driver to gain optimum speed and full sideways action around each corner; your heart rate will be pounding as you experience first hand what it takes to drive a fully worked championship winning rally car.

You will be given a course completion certificate to remember your special day!

This experience is restricted to people 18 years and over and people with a full drivers licence.

Duration

Please allow up to 2 hours for your experience - although you will be one on one in the car with your co-driver, you will be sharing the cars with other participants on the day.

Dress Code

Tops and footwear must be worn at all times. Thongs and singlets are not permissible for participants. Tops with sleeves (T-shirt, Polo shirt etc) and closed in footwear (runners, trainers, sand shoes etc) must be worn. You will not be permitted to participate without the correct clothing and will risk forfeiting your booking.

Q. What is Rallying?
A. Rallying is different to all other car experiences – You are behind the wheel of a 4 wheel drive Championship Rally car – guided around our special track with a Co-driver on a specially prepared stage.

Q. Are the Cars Manual or Automatic?
A. Our Mitsubishi can be driven in Manual or Automatic Mode, the Subaru is manual.

Q. How big/long is the track?
A. Approximately 1 kilometre depending on which way we configure the track on the day.

Q. Is there any age limit?
A. Over 18 but no Maximum age as long as fit and able bodied

Q. Can we bring spectators to watch?
A. Yes we encourage family and friends to come and share the experience
