The Experience
The Drift School, Sydney - NSW is the ultimate gift for the lead-footed rev-head in your life! This full-day experience takes place under expert supervision (with Aussie drift championship drivers!) in specially modified cars built from the ground up for drifting. No need to worry about shredding tyres – you’ll see more tyre changes than you’ll believe possible during this drifting session!
This is the same course seen on ‘Getaway’, and you will be driving the same purpose built Drift cars as Jules himself!
After a briefing on general drifting principals, safety etc, be strapped in for a demo lap with National and International Drifter himself, Fernando Wiehrl (and our other Professional Drifters) to show you how its done, before you take the wheel and learn 2 basic drifting skills which you will need for the 3rd tuition where you will combine these skills to ‘Learn how to drift’ properly.
There's plenty of practice time in a variety of cars including an 180SX, 200SX, R32 Skyline and R33 Skyline.
Cars and instructors are fully equipped to deal with the punishment with 5-point harnesses, roll cages and fire extinguishers – not forgetting the essential ‘off switch’ for the Instructor to turn off power if need be.
This course is a full-day experience with a brilliant instructor/student ratio (almost 1:2 on some days) with plenty of hands-on driving. And it’s not just for the boys – up to 40% of the participants are girls!
