This guided Snowy Mountains 4WD Tour is a must for those of you who want to see the wilderness areas as they are and get the chance to see the real wild Brumbies.

4WD's in the wilderness areas are no longer possible so we provide you the same country and experience. Our Snowy Mountains 4WD trails are challenging and are therefore guided with local knowledge and commentary.

From the Roller Coaster to some of the most rugged terrain in Australia this is truly real wilderness country.

From the comfort of our top of the range 4WD's you can see the best sights and views of Snowy Wilderness including our beautiful wild life and wild brumbies, the Main Range, Thredbo, Mt. Perisher, and the legendary Snowy River.

You’ll be in one of two brumby sanctuaries in Australia, providing a home to more than 50 wild brumbies.

The property is also home to kangaroos, wallabies, emus, wombats, echidnas, wedge-tailed eagles and deer, as well as many varieties of native birds and flora.

Please note that the experience covers rough terrain, if you have any health issues or are pregnant; please check in with your doctor prior to taking part in this experience

Price is per vehicle, allowing for 2 adult + 2 children. Additional people can be added at an extra charge (please see options on right hand)

This experience goes for two hours but please allow extra time on the day

Dress Code

Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing with enclosed shoes. The weather can be very extreme, so please be sure to bring sunscreen, glasses and sunhat and also bring something warm as the weather can change quickly.

Q: What times do you run?
A: Winter months 9:30am to 11:30am and 1:00pm to 3:00pm and for Summer months 9:00am to 11:00am , 12:00noon to 2:00pm and 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Q: What should we bring?
A: It's recommended that sturdy footwear and comfortable clothing suitable to the climate is worn. A hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are also recommended

Who drives?
The tour can supply the driver if necessary. You can choose to drive yourself as well. You will need a current and valid driver’s licence. Please let us know so we can contact the supplier for you.

How much walking?
Up to you. The tour is completed in the 4WD, but you can get our as much as you want for a walk around or for photo opportunities as well.

Where is the closest hotel?
The tour operators have accommodation on site. They have a 2 bedroom High Country Lodge, a 1 bedroom High Country Lodge, and a double bed in a cottage available. The accommodation needs to be booked directly through the supplier, and details will be sent through on confirmation of payment.
